The cover of a hand bound artist book, Searching for Fitz. The work combines a narrative poem with hand drawn images of Gloucester, Massachusetts that in turn incorporate paintings of Fitz Henry Lane, nineteenth century painter and Gloucester resident. The poem, paintings, and book developed over several years as I visited the places in Gloucester where Lane lived and painted.
